What is Graceful Collective?

The Passion Project That Became Graceful Collective

What started as a simple love for baking, thrifting and homemaking has grown into something I never could have imagined—Graceful Collective. But before there was sourdough, there was thrifting.

In college, I started a small reselling business, hunting down vintage and secondhand clothing to give them new life. It was a way to make extra money, but more than that, I loved the thrill of the find and the sustainability of it. That passion for being resourceful and creative carried over into my life after college, especially once I got married. Suddenly, my focus shifted from just making ends meet to making a home—a warm, welcoming space on a budget.

Homemaking became something I deeply enjoyed, and just like with thrifting, I found joy in being intentional with what I brought into our home. Learning to cook from scratch, sourcing quality ingredients without breaking the bank, and creating a cozy space with secondhand treasures all became part of my daily life. And through it all, I’ve sought to steward what the Lord has blessed me with—my time, my home, my resources, and the talents He has given me.

That’s when my love for sourdough truly took root. I’ve always believed that food should be both delicious and wholesome, made with ingredients you can trust. In a world full of over-processed, store-bought bread with ingredients you can’t even pronounce, I wanted to return to something real—something made with just flour, water, salt, and time. I see this as an extension of biblical stewardship—using what I have wisely, being mindful of quality over convenience, and sharing the work of my hands with others.

Graceful Collective isn’t just about bread; it’s about intentional living, sustainability, and gratitude. It’s about taking what the Lord has provided and using it well—whether that’s baking a nourishing loaf of sourdough, thrifting to furnish our home, or running a business that aligns with my values. It’s a reminder that good things take time, that hard work is rewarding, and that the simplest gifts are often the sweetest.

What started in my kitchen as a personal passion has now become a small-batch microbakery, where I get to share my love for sourdough with others. Every loaf I bake is a labor of love and an act of faith, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to bring this vision to life—one loaf at a time.
